My architecture photography concentrates primarily on black and white with an emphasis on extracting the bold
One of my small passions is taking photos of buildings and other structures. I look for interesting angles and how the light bounces off the surfaces, giving lots of contrast. Then I tend to produce the image in my own black and white fine art recipe for more mood.
A project in 2017 saw me travelling round the country to various cities – Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham and London. A whistle-stop tour, so little time to really dig in to anywhere in particular, but still good fun. The results were quite surprising with some very powerful images.
Hopefully I will be shooting more architecture next year!
